Creation (epic poem, 1999)

This narrative poem tells the story of the foundation by the mysterious Designer of the city of Tranquility on the Moon. It describes the life of one of its inhabitants, a humble technician called Eugene, and his love for the beautiful Scheherazade.

But a comet is plummeting into the inner Solar System from the outer darkness, and Tranquility is under threat. Can the Designer save the city, or must Eugene try to save himself by his own efforts? (693 lines)
